Situated just above the Blue Ridge Mountain tree line with views for miles are these cozy authentic log cabins of yesteryear. Each cabin has its own private covered porch
with distant vistas of the foothills of North Carolina and the legendary Buffalo Mountain.
Whether you come to enjoy the terrific scenery or just to relax in the
in-room jaccuzi, while enjoying the warmth of your beside fireplace, we
are sure your visit will be a pleasure which will keep you coming back time and time again.
If you've forgotten to pack supplies or just decided to stay with us on the spur of the
moment, while driving by on the Blue Ridge Parkway... don't worry! We are conveniently
located just behind the well-known Orchard Gap Market, with all the food and supplies you may need to make your stay even more enjoyable.
All of our cabins and cottages are fully furnished and completely equipped for your stay. The only thing needed is food or you may choose to dine out at one of our local restaurants.
Listed below are the descriptions and rental rates for our cabins. (See rates page for more information).
- 1."The Pilot Mountain" - This two level cabin features a jacuzzi, fireplace, queen size bed, sleeper sofa, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, microwave, TV and stereo. With a commanding view from the upper level loft area, this unit is great for weekly or monthly rentals. Sleeps 2. Rate: $105 per night (+tax).
- 2."The Groundhog Mountain" - A one-story cabin with jacuzzi, bedside fireplace, queen size bed, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, microwave, TV and stereo. Great for nightly or weekly rentals. Sleeps 2. Rate: $105 per night (+tax).
- 3."The Buffalo Mountain" - This two-story cabin features a jacuzzi, fireplace, queen size bed, sleeper sofa, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, microwave, TV and stereo. With a commanding view from the upper level loft area, this cabin is great for weekly or monthly rentals. Sleeps 2. Rate: $105 per night (+tax).
- 4."The Chicken House" - A restored chicken house, this one-story unit features a jacuzzi, bedside fireplace, queen size bed, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, TV and stereo. This cabin would be ideal for a one- or two-night stay. Sleeps 2. Rate: $95 per night (+tax).
- 5."The Blue Ridge Mountain" - A one-story two-bedroom cabin with jacuzzi, fireplace, two queen size beds, with full kitchen including refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, microwave, TV, stereo and sleeper sofa. Great for daily, weekly or monthly rentals. Sleeps 4. Rate: $135 per night (+tax).
- 6."The Cumberland Knob" - This lovely single level cabin features a jacuzzi, queen size bed, TV, stereo, coffe maker, microwave, and kitchenette unit. Enjoy your stay on your own private front porch while relaxing in your rocking chairs. Sleeps 2. Rate: $95 per night (+tax).
- 7."The Rocky Knob" - This one level cabin is very romatic with a jacuzzi, sauna, queen size bed, your own fireplace, plus TV, stereo, coffe maker, microwave, and kitchenette. You may also relax on your own private covered porch in your own rocking chairs. Sleeps 2. Rate: $120 per night (+tax).
- 8."The Outhouse" - This small cabin is very unqiue utilizing space to the maximum. It features a queen size bed, TV and fireplace, with a foldout couples table. Currently being used as Office - unavailable for rental.
- 9."The School House" - This unique cabin constructed in the traditional Appalachian styling resembles a Schoolhouse and features a jacuzzi, fireplace, queen size bed, TV, stereo and full kitchen. Sleeps 2. Rate: $105 per night (+tax).
- 10."The Stone Mountain" - A one-story cabin with jacuzzi, bedside fireplace, queen size bed, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, microwave, TV and stereo. Great for nightly or weekly rentals. Sleeps 2. Rate: $105 per night (+tax).
- 11."The Iron Mountain" - A one-story cabin with jacuzzi, bedside fireplace, queen size bed, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, microwave, TV and stereo. Great for nightly or weekly rentals. Sleeps 2. Rate: $105 per night (+tax).
- 12."The Walker Mountain" - This one-story unit features a jacuzzi, bedside fireplace, queen size bed, wet bar, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, TV, DVD, VCR and stereo. This cabin would be ideal for a one- or two-night stay. Sleeps 2. Rate: $105 per night (+tax).
